The event was organized at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Tajikistan in the federal states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.

The celebration was held in the magnificent Audience Hall of the historic Lübeck Town Hall – one of the most renowned halls of the building, famous for its Rococo decor and the paintings by the Italian artist Stefano Torelli.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, described Nowruz in his speech as a celebration of renewal and a symbol of friendship and unity among peoples. He emphasized that Nowruz carries a message of peace and solidarity to the world and highlighted the rich customs and traditions associated with Nowruz in Tajikistan.
