International Navruz Celebration at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Berlin

As part of the series of Navruz  events, a celebration of the International Navruz  Festival took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Berlin on April 5, 2025. The event was attended by a large number of compatriots from Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

The celebration began with an opening speech by the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Germany, Mr Imomudin Sattorov. In his address, the Ambassador warmly welcomed the guests to the traditional Navruz celebration, highlighting its profound significance in the history of the Tajik people. He emphasised Navruz 's role as a symbol of renewal, unity, friendship and mutual understanding. He also urged participants to continue to promote Tajikistan's rich culture and contribute to the country's development.

The cultural programme began with a ballet performance by artists Saidzoda Farangis and Azimzoda Muhammad from the Sadriddin Aini State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Their performance added a distinctive artistic flair to the event.

The popular young singer Umedjon Burhon continued the programme with traditional Tajik songs, captivating the audience with his performance.

At the end of the event, the guests were served with national dishes at a traditional Tajik table.

The Nouruz festival was celebrated in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
