Ambassador's working visit to Leipzig

On March 11, 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, Imomuddin Sattorov, participated in the international forum “Welcome to Saxony!” held in Leipzig.

As part of the forum, the ambassador met with Thomas Horn, Managing Director of Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH (WFS), and Thomas Richter, Head of the Department for Foreign Trade and Trade Fairs. During these meetings, opportunities to intensify bilateral economic cooperation were discussed.

The event provided a platform for international representatives and partners of Saxony's Economic Development Corporation to exchange ideas. Discussions focused on prospects and current challenges in the mechanical and plant engineering industry in India, China, Central Asia, and Saxony.

During his visit, the ambassador also toured Leipzig/Halle Airport and met with Frank Pieper, Senior Vice President of Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG. The meeting centered on exploring ways to organize logistical cooperation.
