Strengthening cooperation with Saxony in the mining sector

On 21 January 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, during a working visit to the Free State of Saxony, met with the Head of the Saxony State Mining Authority, Professor Dr Bernhard Kramer, in the city of Freiberg.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Saxony in the mining sector.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador also met with the Vice Rector of the Mining Academy of the Technical University of Freiberg (TUBAF), Professor Dr Tobias Fibeck.

The parties agreed to strengthen inter-university relations in the conduct of scientific and research work and to pursue joint initiatives for the education of Tajik students at this scientific institution.

At the end of the meeting, Imomudin Sattorov signed the book of honorary guests of the Mining Academy of TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
