Participation of the Tajik delegation in the 89th International Exhibition of Agricultural Products "International Green Week"

On 16 January 2025, the 89th International Exhibition of Agricultural Products "Green Week" was opened at the Berlin Exhibition Centre.

On the initiative of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany and at the invitation of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany, the Tajik delegation took part in the exhibition. Headed by Nigina Anvari, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, the delegation included representatives of various ministries, agencies and the private sector of the Republic.

On 18 January, a special event was held at the Tajik national pavilion, attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Germany and German agricultural companies. Agricultural products, including food and goods produced by domestic companies, as well as handicrafts, were presented to the public.

In addition, the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan held meetings on the sidelines of the exhibition with the heads of ministries, departments and companies from Germany and other countries.

Now in its 89th year, the Green Week covers an area of more than 118,000 square metres. More than 1,400 exhibitors from 60 countries present their products. The exhibition is broadcast by 13,000 Internet channels and 700 television networks. Around 400,000 people are expected to visit the exhibition.
