The March edition of the “Behörden Spiegel” newspaper published an interview with the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, under the heading “We produce about 100% of electricity from green energy”.
In his interview with Peter Slama, journalist of the “Behörden Spiegel” Imomudin Sattorov spoke about Tajikistan, expanding mutually beneficial relations with Germany over 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, prospects for further cooperation, the European Union Strategy for Cooperation with the States of Central Asia, hydropower potential, tourism and diplomatic activities.
Given the upcoming UN Conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Implementation of the Objectives of the International Decade for Action (March 22-24, 2023, New York), the attention of the journalist was drawn to this important event and the international initiatives of Tajikistan in the field of water, mitigating the impact of climate change and melting glaciers.
Apart from this, the German journalist was introduced to the method of cooking the national dish - Tajik pilaf.
