Celebration of the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan

On November 24, 2025, a solemn event dedicated to celebration of National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is widely celebrated throughout of the country every year, took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Niyatbekzoda Vafo in his congratulatory speech noted the role of flag in the history of formation of Tajik civilization, the approval of the date of this holiday as well as the contribution of the Founder of peace and national unity – Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon in ensuring the elevation and acceptance of the flag of our Motherland in international field.

Further, Embassy employees represented an information about the external features and characteristics of the National Flag of Tajiks and the tradition of raising the flag, which since ancient times has been a symbol of the independence and statehood of our people.
