Thirty fourth anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan celebrated in Ashgabat

September 13, 2025, at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan, with the participation of employees and compatriots, a solemn event took place in honor of 34th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The festive ceremony was opened by the performance of the national anthem, then Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan Niyatbekzoda Vafo, emphasizing the role and contribution of the Founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon in establishing independence, strengthening the sovereignty and the formation of the foundations of statehood, presented gathered information about the achievements of modern Tajikistan for 34 years of independence.

During the celebration, along with the performance of patriotic musical compositions and poems, compatriots were demonstrated samples of traditional art and handiwork of Tajiks, such as Chakan,

Atlas, sewing with gold threads, kundal, clay dishes, traditional hats and clothes, as well as national dishes.
