Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and Serbia
On April 8, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic.
During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian and tourism fields were discussed and the parties expressed their interest in further development of relations in areas of mutual interest.
The interlocutors underlined the importance of using possibilities of bilateral mechanisms, in particular the Tajik-Serbian Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation for expanding and strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
The parties also focused on issues of cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations, as well as supporting the global initiatives of Tajikistan.
